If you can find it, a true Customer Success role that is not salesy at an earlier stage company. You touch every department in the company, talk to customers, and become a real Jack of all trades.

They're all technical to some extent. From least to most, probably
- product manager
- solutions architect
- data scientist (the internal consulting kind)
I used to be a data scientist and now a solutions architect. I can verify what you said.
You can work for a mid-sized company where there’s more flexibility to do more. I was once a Sr Business Analyst/Project Manager/Program Manager bc I managed various initiatives. It’s a blend of hands-on analysis, implementation, training, business case development, strategy planning, vendor management … I’ve learned so much in 2 yrs compared to my 5-yr Prod Mgt job at a Fortune 500 company.
Or maybe try Consulting so there’s variety in the project, industry and ppl you meet.

I’m at a FinTech firm currently and we have Service Manager, Relationship Management, Client Service Manager (some technical aspects to the role), and some business analyst type roles. Saw someone mention customer success which is good and probably somewhat similar to our service manager role.
