What kinds of positions would be good for a Tax Associate leaving Big 4? I actually enjoy the work, but busy season makes me miserable. I feel like I'm living to work when it should be the other way around. My other main gripe is the utilization metric. It punishes people for being efficient and utilizing all the digital tools. I want to focus on the quality of my work and not the hours it took.

I was laid off and immediately started job searching, I didn’t post a pity party pic or a long statement on LinkedIn… personally, I wouldn’t hire someone like that or wouldn’t want to… but that’s just me.
