At manager usually util around 70-80% + soft managed revenue targets of $1M+ to get you on a trajectory for promotion.
At that level it’s less about “sales” and more about engagement delivery + getting plugged into BD, winning extensions and renewals and being involved with proposals and RFP responses.

MBB doesn’t have utilization targets at an individual level (tracked by office)

Managed revenue, sales, I&D compliance (but it’s a really easy goal, e.g., usually attend an I&D event once a quarter) and utilization

Utilization target is 80%. Sales target is 750k, which can be achieved by supporting PPMDs on successful business development efforts. Managed revenue target is 250k, but instead of MR meaning the value of engagements you manage, it means the value of engagements you are the "account administrator" for, meaning you are tasked with handling billing and other admin responsibilities.

I don't know if you and I are on the same page regarding how MR backs out. You can get MR for a whole engagement or multiple engagements, with multiple people, and you have to handle billing and admin. The exact bill rate doesn't matter as long as you hit the target.
