I wanted to make a massive career change and pivot into tech. Sales is about walking the walk not the resume so it seemed the best route. So far I've been proven correct.

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

I am looking to have my career into management consulting. I am a 2020 grad from VIT University and have around 2.5 years of job experience. Currently I'm working as a sector analyst and my job includes a lot of primary and secondary research and insight crunching. I am very sound in using all the ms applications along with a little knowledge of SQL.

Right now, I feel my job is kind of monotonous and I'm getting a feeling to move out...

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!

Hi ! Looking for advice. I’ve been with a company in BC for 2.5 years, started support role, promoted to smb AE a year ago. salary is 65k with uncapped commission. We recently did layoffs, I was kept however there have been changes & meeting quota has become difficult & we have a way heavier workload. The perks are amazing but I need to make more money. Do you think I could get a role with more money with my experience that’s fully remote even in this “recession”..thoughts?

Feeling a bit deflated. The pandemic has taught us that working remotely produces a lot more work than coming into the office. My company recently categorized EAs as support staff, therefore, the WFH nor the Hybrid doesn't applies to us. When asked why the sudden shift, the bullocks response was.. "when persons walked the floors, the place was a ghost town"
So, is it that you need me to tell you that John is WFH?! Make it make sense pls!

In a usage based ARR model, how would you build out the revenue model for an example customer: March, customer is new and generates 3k rev for company, April: $4k Revenue, May: $5k Revenue, Customer churns June.

From a quarterly perspective, how would you recognize the following? Q1 & Q2 New customer revenue, Q1 & Q2 Change in existing customer revenue, and Q1 & Q2 Lost revenue from customer churn.

I'm stuck on how to recognize Q2 change in revenue of existing customer, & Q2 revenue churn

IBM (ISV Partner Specialist)
