What MBA programs are best for healthcare startups (or healthcare industry in general)?

My new job allows employees to make after-tax (different from Roth) 401k contributions. I understand the benefit of getting more money into a Roth account, but since the earnings are taxed (CONT)

Where is the best place to start for an year 1 consultant who really is passionate about the healthcare industry? Which companies would you recommend for entry levels? what path worked for you?

We have a client that lost her contract as a result of a policyholders negligence by not following the rules of the road and injured our client. now the insurance company does not want to pay her for her lost wages. Hey all! I am in the middle of interviewing at a healthcare data startup. I've gone through 3 if 5 rounds so far and it seems promising. I originally asked for 180-200k base salary since it's a director level role and I'm coming with ~9 YOE. They said that is at the very top of their budget so I'm looking for tips on how to navigate that conversation and if that comp seems reasonable?

What kind of roles do you guys recommend for a pharmacist trying to pivot into pharma? Where can you go to see all the different types of roles available? I graduated with my PharmD in 2019 and I did a managed care residency and am now at a healthcare startup so my background is primarily on the health plan/digital health side

I’ve been negotiating a settlement on behalf of a client. OP is a major corp. we’ve gone back and forth for months, almost a year. Finally came to a final agreement and we’re reviewing for final signature. Then client is reviewing and decides they want something else modified. It’s a point of contention. OP has said no. Should I communicate this to client before pushing back against OP’s rejection of the mod?

Planning on attending Tuck ($40K) but recently admitted to CBS ($0). Goal is strat. consulting in NYC/NJ (MBB preferred but ok with T2). Feel like CBS is the obvious choice given the slightly higher chance of MBB NYC and NYC alum network, but Tuck is better fit socially (tight-knit community, smaller school, most folks new to Hanover) for an introvert looking to make circle of close friends. I am planning on applying to HS but I’m hesitant about W vs INSEAD. I am not sure where I want to move post MBA (Europe vs US vs ME vs Asia) and so I’m looking at the most “global” name and network. Any advice on W vs INSEAD?

Having a hard time staying motivated through the application process. I know conceptually it’ll be worth it to go to the schools I want to go to but it’s so far away that it doesn’t feel real.

How did you guys stay motivated? For those that have already started your MBA program, what’s something that I might be able to look forward to that might keep me excited/motivated?
