[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

I’m exactly 45 and pretty much followed this path. Entirely dependent on industry, but a good conservative estimate is 350-600 base plus bonus. Stock is an additional dimension. I had a couple years 10 years ago where my “all in 275k” ended up being around 700k due to stock price appreciation.
That said, in industry a lot of “Corp strategy” roles are intermediary holding measures for outside talent to come in, report to a senior leader while working on special projects, and hopefully transition to a business unit / profit center. I went this route as I truly think being attached to an actual business driving revenue is a much more sustainable path than Corp strategy which, speaking from experience here, has a tendency to be viewed as an expensive cost center by the BUs who have to pick up the allocation.
Yep. That’s what I’m saying.
$300-400k base+bonus, wide variance based on stock options.
Not speaking from experience, 😅
I would check the Charles Aris comp reports for some data points on ex-consultants

Are you saying you're going to exit at 45, or that you're going to exit soon and are trying to project comp 10+ years down the road?
If the latter--depending on the firm, you could be anywhere from director to SVP+ level, so comp could really be anywhere from $200-$1M+.
Thanks! Yes was trying to assume a exit soon and what comp on median would be that far out. Understand that there is wide variance of course.
I would imagine you’d be a VP or a senior director at least by then, so anywhere from 275 to a shitton more.
