Another path you may consider is sales enablement. Given your background in training, coaching, and development of sellers it sounds like you may have the skills required to create and lead enablement programs. If you are looking for a role outside of front-line sales leadership, sales enablement may be a great path. After 4 years of direct sales experience, I moved into sales enablement and have loved it ever since. It’s a growing field that has a lot of opportunity for someone with your experience. Glad to chat more if you want more insights on the field.

Any consulting firms that actually train their employees? I came from WM industry so consulting was a bit of a culture shock and i wish my company had invested time into training me so I’d be a better consultant. Got a situation here. Signed an offer from Deloitte (I counter offered, they approved it), and just told my PwC partner that I received an offer from a competitor. PwC offered me a thiccc retention bonus that is hard to reject. What would happen if I tell Deloitte that PwC offered me this and I choose to stay? Any implications since I signed my offer letter already?
