Specific watches or watch brands holding their value isn’t really a thing. It’s more a function of the luxury goods market than anything else.
50 years ago, the Daytona was the red headed stepchild of the Rolex portfolio. Now a Big Red 6263 from that era is a 6 figure watch (and it was $350 retail back then).
