Anyone here play sports at a high level (e.g. college and/or pro) and now in a desk job? How do you cope with not playing anymore? I’m in pretty good shape but I haven’t been able to fence for two years because of work. Pretty specific muscles needed. I fenced hard tonight, mostly against teenagers. No, I am not in good shape, especially aerobically. Time for rowing machine and jump rope on the days I’m not fencing (2-3 per week). It will take a couple of months. I’m going to hurt tomorrow. Are mortgage discount points worth it? How do you do the financial analysis to see if that saves money in the long run? I did some financial analysis for the house I like and it seems to be worth paying more upfront for discount points for lower mortgage interest rate but I am afraid that my math would be wrong. 🤔
