She is what we say she is, she does what we say she does. She is a believable representation of Our Brand, buzzword buzzword zim bop.
Is this an ad or a target demo slide from a strategy deck?
I’d argue that the quintessential Domain shopper would not, in fact, carry a Celine bag, and would be far more likely to rear-end a Jaguar while managing her Poshmark account on her rose gold iPhone 8 in a Rebecca Minkoff case with a fake Marc Jacobs pop socket and drinking a venti iced Americano than step foot in a brick and mortar. It is 2014, after all.
I live really close to the domain. It’s half luxury brand brick and mortars and half tech companies. From my visits, I would say the other side of the typical domain shopper coin is a frumpy dude in cargo shorts an oversized tee and flip flops headed to Starbucks to get a sugarcino and pick up a cheeseburger taco from velvet on the walk from his job at Facebook to his residence in the overpriced condos above madewell. Also, he likes to ogle women from his balcony
Assuming that this is the Domain in Austin, Texas, they’ve actually nailed the shitty-and-proud vibe of most Domain shoppers.
Too much copy. I try to do two maybe three words then mentally check out for the day.
It might be hard to read, but it says:“quintessential domain shopper? Carries a Louis Vuitton, Celine, or Givenchy handbag, wears rag & bone skinny jeans and Frye boots during the day, and changes into an LBD and Jimmy Choo heels at night; drives a BMW 6 Series to go out and by day she drives a Range Rover Sport; is most likely to describe her ethnicity as Anglo, Jewish, or Asian; (do I need to go on.......)

Yeah I thought this was a deck slide about psychographics of a target audience. If I were that woman I would feel intensely condescended to
