I did criminal, GAL, and negligence in VA and DC. If you have litigation experience, go BigLaw, that’s where the money and experience is. If no lit experience, look at corporate

Depends… there’s plenty. Contracts, M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), litigation (both complex civil and IP). If you’re wanting to move into #BigLaw, I know Greenberg Traurig is hiring. They have offices in McLean and Downtown DC, and it looks like they’re moving to a hybrid office/WFH model on a permanent basis.
I’ve never branched out into other areas of law, but right now I am chasing the green brick road while I finish up my personal accomplishments. How do I begin to find a job in BigLaw? What is considered BigLaw?

Six years ago I started out in family law. Then I briefly transitioned to Plaintiffs PI before settling in Civil and Probate Litigation for several years. That said, I'm just now starting with a new Med Mal Defense firm. It's definitely a learning curve but I'm hoping to rise to the challenge and be an asset.
