Would strongly advise against doing this. Try and get another job lined up. Or if it’s really terrible, just start doing the absolute minimum. If you’re then fired for poor performance, at least you’ll be able to collect unemployment.
Yeah - obviously income, health, vision, dental, other benefits (could be disability, life, AD&D, etc.)
Plus there’s other intangible benefits like the fact that being employed makes finding a new job 10x easier.
If you haven’t already, try job searching a bit first to get a sense of how long it will take. Job market is improving but still worse than pre-COVID, so depending on your standards for your next job, you could be signing yourself up for a long period with no income / resume gap
