For those of you saving for an mba what is your approach? I am currently 1 year out of school and have around 40k in high interest savings and another 40k in other savings accounts (brokerage, Roth, 401k). Should i keep a 50/50 split or invest the money and sell later? Also what is a good amount to have saved prior to matriculation assuming no scholarships at a top school?

My wife took a job with a new company in September, and then we found out a few days later that she’s pregnant. Great news, but the New Company’s policy says you must be employed for at least a year before you’re eligible for paid maternity leave...is this negotiable? Has anyone else dealt with this? Could she receive part of it? We’ll do FMLA, but would be nice to have some $, because I’ve heard babies are expensive.

I haven’t been in my position long (10 months) but from what I can see there is not room for me to grow or anyone who truly wants to advocate for my growth. I came in a position that paid way less that my qualifications demand, but I took it with assurances from my bosses that I’d be trained well and given opportunities to specialize and advance. I’m learning that is not the case. I’m debating jumping ship. It’s really disheartening.
