Save what you can, OP, which will increase over time. Even $50/month is better than nothing. Start somewhere. And don’t worry about comparing yourself to others. Everyone has different salaries, priorities, and expenses. You do you. Wishing good things for you in the future.

Max my IRA (500/month) so that takes a lot as well, so essentially 20% (base is 90)

22 at 80k. I do 6% but that’s just cause accenture doesn’t match till after a year in, so I just put in to have something. I’ll up it once marching kicks in. I do try to save at least 800 a month tho
Even without the match? My rationale is that rather than putting that money into 401k, I could maybe invest it myself. And also as a someone so young, I kind of value that liquidity to be able to spend haha
