The decision whether to contribute to before tax and or Roth is up to you. As a younger employee, I chose to be taxed now under the assumption that I will be in a higher tax bracket later on in life. I contribute the 6% or more and encourage those who can to do so as it is essentially free money.
Edit: Accenture matches 6% for analysts, idk if that is the same across all levels

18k in traditional. Contribute to roth if you are eligible
Contribute to a Roth 401k as long as your marginal tax rate is under 15%, after that switch to a traditional 401k. Following that, do all you can to max it as soon as you can. Compound interest is a beautiful thing.
