Help me understand what is customary for an onboarding processing time these days. I accepted an offer a week ago with a start date in two weeks. Its been one week with no mail or links to get the background and onboarding in motion. I have reached out to both the recruiter on Friday and the hiring manager. Crickets.

I got on a Hr call with them and they said they really expect technical product owner to know the nitty gritty of backend like payload or system designs etc, and that I would need to brush up on backend knowledge if i want to pass their technical interview.

Recruiter lied about interview process and job type. First interview goes well and interviewer tried to schedule me for in-person interview first thing next morning. I tried to push off into next week and was told it wouldn’t work with timeline. Everything was supposed to be remote, should I keep it moving and go somewhere else?

Feeling a bit down today. Yet another friend just told me she is pregnant — not a complete surprise, I suspected when I saw her on a prior socially-distanced outing. But still frustrated at myself.
