What roles in tech are the least stressful? Currently a director RevOps and just seeing what I could pivot to

Has anyone here (or anyone you know) pivoted from Wealth Management (CFP) into Tech/VC/PE? If so, what was your experience and do you have any recommendations?

Currently working as an intern at a great agency, but I'm starting to talk to Publicis about a Jr. Position in NYC. Is it as bad as people say? Would it be a bad move for a first job as a junior?

What jobs can I get with a bachelors in economics and 4 years of Accounts Payable experience?

So lately I’ve been using the interns to get the engagement and work papers set up so I can go in and do the return. I don’t think it’s fair for their growth. I’ve seen managers do it so I’m taking part in it. But what do you think? It does help make me more energy but I can stop doing this too.

I am expecting an offer from Oracle Digital, Consulting with about 60% hike (25 LPA fixed + Variable at 5.2 YOE) from current pay package and a role of principal consultant.
A few questions I have regarding this.

1. What are the perks/employee ben there?
2. How is the work life balance?
3. How is the hike and bonus?
4. How is the scope of moving to development centre of Oracle - IDC?

Finally, what do you guys think about the pay package, should I be targetting a higher pay package?

Hi all - I am looking for some advice and possible future options. I have associate/senior KPMG experience and moved to industry working in investment accounting. I have passed the CPA exam and am looking at getting the CFE. It seems like a lot of forensic/fraud positions are based in IT/programming or other computer based skills. Are there avenues in fraud/forensics that would be open to someone with my experience? If so, are there any skills/certs that I would need to be a desirable hire? TIA!

Been in PR & w/ the same company now for 8 years, and every day I fantasize about submitting my resignation. Definitely think the pandemic has made it more clear how burnt out I am and how much I despise my job & the people I work with. However, not sure what my next move should be & also feel I don’t have the head space to really think about it while staying at my current job. I'm a product owner in a product based company. I am a graduate and don't have an MBA. Recently when I was looking for a switch to a product manager role, some said that it is difficult for me to get opportunities since I don't have an MBA since companies prefer MBAs mostly for their product management roles. Is this true ? How good are my chances to progress with an MBA ?

Hello Everyone! Had a discussion yesterday regarding “claw backs” being included in a policy for sponsorship if the new employee leaves before 3 years. It was a declining percentage over a three year period. My POV was that it wasn’t something I’ve ever done and didn’t seem like they were sure of the hire they were making. I get wanting to save costs but at the same time doesn’t feel inclusive or welcoming. Thoughts? Have you done this or seen it work? Thanks!

Does anyone have a boss or leader that nitpicks at everything you do, and also doesn’t recognize your work? Do they tend to have favorites? I started at this company fairly recently, as well as some members of my team. None of us has even been in the company for 4 months yet and we all want to leave because of our leadership team. I’m hesitant to look elsewhere since it “shows that I don’t stay at the company long,” but my goodness we are going insane!

"One thing I want to run by you again is the salary range. I asked you about it when we spoke and you mentioned a range. I would say that we would be able to offer a salary more in the lower part of that range, so I just want to make sure it is still relevant for you? the lower part of that range, is acceptable, but low for market in the area. Should i ask about benefits?

I have just got an options trader job at a prop trading firm. But I knew nothing about options/trading/finance. The firms said they’ll be officially training us once we start. But in the meantime, what are some books/resources that you would recommend to start learning first?
