Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I had a call with a team member for a position I'm in the interview process for (soon to have a call with the recruiter). The person seemed passive aggressive during the call and hung up on me before I was able to say thank you for his time or bye. I didn't have my interview yet but I was told that this call is known to the team and the recruiter. Does it seem like I bombed the interview before even having the interview since it didn't end on a good note?

A former Manager reached out about an e-commerce manager role for a relatively young company doing $35M/year. The role manages inventory on the site (20 skus), CRO, and Analytics plus the e-tailers (Amazon). They launched a site redesign and CVR tanked, but from what I gather they have too much of a focus on Paid Social and upper-funnel tactics. They’re hiring for a Demand Gen Analyst/Manager from a different manager. So, the roles report into different people. Question below:

I am recently married and have been living with my husband for 3 years. Recently I have been taking on more hours at work for a promotion. I make significantly more than him and we’ve been okay with that. we have talked about how my job is the main support for us and I need to focus on that.
