I have a recruiter showing me a general overview of FTI Consulting saying that compensation would consist of base salary + monthly qualified billables + 10% to 20% annual bonus. Is this similar to A&M (% of billable hours)? I'm currently in TS but am looking for a boost in compensation, more than a public accounting firm can offer. What kind of $ are FTI seniors making in this market?
Hi all. I am currently serving NP. I have 2.9years exp in java stack in struts. less knowledge in spring and angular, recently started learning. i am applying for full stack and java roles. my current ctc is 4.3lpa. I got offer from infy 9lpa and 1L joining bonus. what is the max ctc i can expect? I am not confidence in my technical skills. in java job market spring and microservice in deman i am not sure i will get better package. should i consider retention? how soon should accept retention?
Is there any way to find out rough comp and bonus before the official chat? Do I need to have an offer somewhere else to get a sense of where it will be?
Ogletree shareholder looking for some honest, anonymous feedback from OD associates/counsel regarding the compensation/bonus email we all received earlier this week.
What is the pay range for Senior Manager at West Monroe Partners? Should I expect a base of 175k? What is bonus range?
Do we have any kind of relocation bonus considering the fact that we are being called back to office from June 1st
I have been offered a job at Intel Bangalore as Senior Hardware Engineer(Grade 7) for RTL Design Profile. What should be my Salary expectation(Base/Bonus/RSU)? YOE- 4years,10months Highest Qualification- B-Tech(Tier-1 college)
I know it's been a few days but still really pissed about PwC's manager bonus reduction and how it was handled. 😡😡😡
Assuming I’m justified in thinking I deserve a higher bonus/salary, who should I talk to about potential raises (HR, management, etc.)? Should I say that I’m considering other options? (Details below)
Friend got an offer from Snowflake Bay Area for Program Manager Role : Base :185k, 15% bonus, 250k RSU/4 years. 8 YoE. How’s this offer? Snowflake Inc.
If you’re interviewing w/ a company that wants you to start before you can get the CPA bonus (you could stay at your firm another ~2 m until you pass), is it reasonable to ask for a comparable bonus?
Anyone here know what total compensation is for a Strategy Associate role at Deliveroo in London? Would be great if you could please provide breakup by salary, cash bonus and stock options. Currently have ~2 years of experience at MBB (straight out of UG). Is £80K total compensation too much to ask for? Not sure what range to quote given this is going to be the first time I move jobs.
what's the comp level at A&M and AlixPartners for restructuring in London? (at new Senior associate level at A&M and equivalent in Alix) Heard that A&M bonus is based on billing, but how much do people usually get? And how much flexibility do you guys get to work on different type of projects? (for example will you be able to work across creditor advisory or operational restructuring etc ) (considering leaving pwc for more money)
Why do companies, specially consulting ones, still cares about a referral? People are giving referral like candies to unknown people just to get that juicy bonus (not judging, have done the same).
Anyone know around how much is reasonable for a 3rd year consultant at BCG (or any of the MBB firms)? I can only find posts online for 1st year at ~$160K. I'm coming from a couple years as a manager in a specialized data analytics consulting role now shifting towards a more generalized M&A "typical consultant" role. I'd expect a minor title hit but not sure base/bonus salary-wise what this would translate to!
I work at a Small Private Equity shop in MCOL as a Senior Accountant (general accounting and non-investment side finance responsibilites). First year on the job but coming from a large business background, very structured promotions and raises. That being said... What % raise should i ask for in a normal year (non-promo) when that time comes? 5%, 8%, 10%? Since we are small, i think it will be very conversational on what i actually think i should get. Salary = $80k Bonus = about $20k
how to negotiate after verbal offer for more money if you don’t have another offer? not looking for a big increase from initial offer, probably 5-10k; can i bring up that id be foregoing my promo cycle and annual bonus?
Got an offer as a Business Transformation Partner at Bain cap. Any feedback on this profile - good, bad, ugly? Cash comp is lower than current - apparently bonus (based on performance - both own and portfolio company) is significant (~ 80-90% of cash comp)
I have a $60k sign on bonus coming in, after tax around $42k. I’ve never had this amount of money before and want to spend it wisely and maybe invest… what would you recommend? I was thinking of buying a home but the buying market is so bad right now in my city (Dallas, TX)… any and all recommendations welcome!
Post to test
Beyond 2 lines the text in each post card is cut off. I wonder how many lines in the comment section?
Ah now it did.
135k base and I would like to buy a Porsche. I have 20k in student loans and no other debt. Go for it? I'm not even into cars but every time I’m dashing through the Target parking lot and see one, it’s like love at first sight😍. That is my only justification 😂
Wow. This morning on a quarterly regional all hands an Accenture Managing Director (and leader) had the group stop for a full minute for thoughts and prayers for the president in the first lady in the wake of their coronavirus diagnosis. Not sharing my feelings... Just leaving this there.
I asked intern via Skype if she could walk to the printer and grab some papers for me since I was dialed in to a call at my desk. Responded “No, I don’t do intern work”..what’s a fair reaction to that
Should you not call a woman ma’am? I just said “good morning ma’am” to my manager and she’s like “never call me ma’am again” and it wasnt in a joking manner she sounded pretty annoyed lol
Hot take: All white collar jobs should be 100% remote. All these boomers at the helm are making that impossible by thinking that we need to be at a client site or office to work. This last year and a half has shown that we don’t need to be physically there
Thoughts on firms lowering their requirements to be more inclusive of diversity? I see it in our recruiting practices in my local office
What's the most absurd thing an analyst has done on your teams? Looking for some laughs.
We all know it's what's inside your desk that matters. Just a few things that get me through the week!
So, this is a first! Chief Diversity Officer at my client has “Preferred Pronouns” in ‘her’ signature. I’m 😱 has anyone seen this before?!
If you’re gonna cancel an 8:30 am meeting, do it the night before, not at 8:15am. Woke up early for absolutely no reason and now I’m angry.
