Accepted an offer as an EM for a consulting startup. The offer had no mention of a background check or any other employment dependencies. If I've already signed the offer letter, am I clear to quit my current role since employment doesn't appear to be contingent on anything? Should I be waiting for something? KFC awards creative business to MullenLowe after FOUR ROUNDS OF PITCHES. That’s right. Not only did they ask agencies to pitch over the holidays, they made them come back… not twice, not 3 times. But 4. Times. Arnold? FCB? Fig? Godspeed to the creative team on this business. KFC is the reason this industry is shrinking and creatives are fleeing in droves. Wieden saw this coming from (many) miles away. Good on them. There are good clients and great brands out there….just not this one sadly.

Most of us haven’t lived through a tech stock crash like this. We are not even at a recession yet and seeing this. I expect another 20-50% pullback across the board in coming 1-2 years. Sad times to have not sold the highs in November. What do you think?
