What salary range should I be asking for? I am looking to transition from Audit to Forensic Accounting and have both my CPA and CFE. I also have 2 years of public accounting experience. I currently have 5 interviews all in Forensic positions.

I started a job in July and was really excited about it but the daily operations and company have disappointed me much more than I had anticipated. 2 weeks before I was due to start, a recruiter reached out to me from a more exciting, smaller (but growing) similar firm but I was already projected to start this job and didn’t want to take the risk. I am wondering when it would be appropriate to re-engage with this recruiter about opportunities to interview with their firm? Any advice?

We are looking for Product Mgrs who have 4+ years of exp in client facing roles where you gather requirements, design solutions, work with developers to build the solution, test the solution end-to-end, and deliver to the client. The work itself is very similar to what we do in consulting but you don't have to worry about firm activities, utilization, etc.
