Depends what industry. Seems like tech pays the highest. Also, do you have your CPA? I wouldn't interview for less than $70-80K.
They offered 80 which I think is low
How many years of experience do you have? If you have 2 years at EY, it's a damn good offer... bc that's what I was offered w/ 3 years previous industry exp and 1.5 years in public for midsize firm. So 80K seems average for 3-4 years experience. If you want to make more money, move to Dallas. Lol.
I've got 4 years experience. It's hard knowing that for a larger city somewhere else like Chicago I could get 100 no question
Yeah, unfortunately Austin doesn't pay as well as larger cities. But everyone wants to live here, so that's the trade off.
