What services can I offer as a new solo to bring money in the door? I’m looking for service areas where I can offer low flat fees, perhaps limited scope representation. I “specialize” in comprehensive, complex estate planning but would like to open up the doors to a larger client base.

If you can, I'd stick within your niche and just market a little wider. If it's a more severe cash flow issue, I'd recommend traffic court. When I was first starting off this helped me a lot and the marketing is pretty easy/direct. Usually one day's work for $500-1000.

You can add on a funding component to the estate planning. We charge an annual fee for a funding and estate plan maintenance program.

You can also do LLC formations or small business audits to see if they are missing corporate books, operating agreements, assignments to trusts, up to date membership ledgers and annual meeting minutes etc.
