So I worked for a federal contracting company for over 5 years. They liked my work so much that when the contract ended they moved me internally. They put me on an internal company project and after months the VP who was our manager didn't like my work and pulled me off the project. This was during the covid epidemic and I found remote work quickly. However, they never terminated me nor am I being paid, however I'm getting free medical insurance and have been doing for several months now.

2020 fall admit here. Many of my main drivers for business school have been impacted by COVID-19, such as getting back on campus and meeting new people. Concerned I’ll be wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity starting b-school likely virtual. How have others approached the decision of going, deferring, or not going? Seems like a debate around the “least bad” choice

I've been researching different data structures and big O topics and was prompted with a coveted foobar challenge. Given that I would still like to continue my studies for a few months before formally starting the challenge is it possible to accept the challenge but not request the first problem immediately?

Hey could use some honest opinions on this because I’m still in shock. I was preparing to give in my resignation + 2 weeks from EY on Monday to jump ship to Deloitte. I accepted the offer from Deloitte on Friday, and I just got hit with a bomb today that my brother has cancer and we have no idea what stage it’s at. Should I just rescind my acceptance from Deloitte? I don’t know how it would be taken if I start at a new firm and immediately need substantial flexibility and time off.

I recently got the corporate Amex card. Haven't yet incurred expenses but wanted to know how the process is. After importing the expenses in DTE, is it:
1. Deloitte pays Amex i.e. I don't have to do anything?
2. I pay Amex and Deloitte pays me on my personal bank account?
Thanks!
