What should all in comp be for first year associates? Base I got quoted is 175, trying to figure out what % of base to expect with bonus. Should I get min bonus language in writing with the recruiter in the offer letter?

Service bAsed companies are not releasing offers nowadays. I have left looking for offers from any of service based companies. Except TCS, All are frauds and TCS won’t pay much anyway so done. They will lure you to give interviews and later when all rounds are done and docs are submitted, they will come and say we can’t pay you. I have faced the same with capegemini, tech Mahindra, infosys, cognizant. Is this the case with anyone ? Or am I the only one with bad luck

I have got a offer from JP Morgan, I had asked them for joining bonus which they declined but have told me they would pay me my annual bonus(pre defined in current organization) in January as incentive along with rest of organization. They have declined to give this in writing anywhere and have asked to have faith in verbal commitment. Is this a normal practice?

My brain is not working, if I make 90k and the 401k match is "25% of the first 6% of annual comp" that means they will match $1,395 if I contribute $5,580 a year.....correct?

Did the company you work at do anything above and beyond it’s normal compensation practices to account for inflation this past year? My organization generally gives everyone a 2-4% raise each year by default (sometimes they add merit-based increases on top of that-but most get the 2-4%) - but they did not do anything to account for inflation in 2021 which was 6%+. I am part of leadership - and we are discussing how to deal with this - curious about other experiences/suggestions.

Does anyone know when QE (or other firms ending their fiscal year in October) pay out bonuses? Need to know how long I have to do this until I can quit.
