Taking a new role in industry after 2 years in public. It’s about a 70% increase from current salary and between 25-30% increase from expected salary after promotion to Senior (find out later today what my new figure would have been). It’s a remote position making solid money and interesting work/field. Just worried I’m leaving public too soon. I requested a salary adjustment based on my responsibilities as a UXR. I’ve been in the role for nearly 2y and finally heard back about my salary adjustment.

I was expecting a 24% increase as I was severely underpaid but received an 18% increase. I realize this is still a great bump and I’m grateful for it but I also want to be paid fairly.
