How long was the HL interview process?
Hi,
I am a project manager and working in the supply chain industry. With little knowledge of IT, still I had managed to crack an interview as IT project manager but given the circumstances I had chosen my current job. It's been for years now and I'm unable to crack any of the interviews as project manager in any of the IT firms. Does it because I had rejected the order earlier? Have a question similar to #2 that gave me some really interesting answers. Context, I’m looking to transition into a new field.
What is the biggest piece of advice you have for someone transitioning into this field? And how has using that advice helped you in your career?
Everyone responded with “that’s a great question” but that could also have just been a way to gather their thoughts for a few seconds before responding. I got some really interesting and candid answers.

It shows curiosity (a good thing), that your personable (a good thing, it makes you memorable, AND it ends the interview on a positive note, at least from the interviewers side.
Good luck!
Agree with everyone’s suggestions here but I will also add that I like my last question to be “do you have any hesitation about me or my background?” It gives you a chance to hear their concerns and address them.
“What keeps you up at night?” That will give you some insight into some major changes or challenges going on that you may have some involvement with once you start. Perhaps a big acquisition, change in leadership, restructure, transitioning technology, encountering some hiring struggles, etc. I’ve received some great responses.
