Please suggest, I am holding an offer of 20LPA from TCS, now my company wants to retain me and match the offer plus sign retention clause to not leave before 1 year or else pay 2Lacs if I leave before 1 year.
I am expecting Cognizant offer letter which is offering me 24LPA... They discussed the salary and said will process the offer letter but waiting since last two weeks, Still haven't received an offer letter. Does cognizant definitely release offer letter if they said so?

I got selected in Deloitte, after giving 3 rounds of interview.
Holding an offer of 8lpa.
In the salary discussion round with the HR I specified 12lpa(fixed) expected. They said, it is subject to business approval, and this amount is usually not met. But I stayed adamant and asked them to mention 12 itself. Have I made a mistake? will they ghost me?
