I had one unsuccessful fresh transfer and I don’t remember what I did (nothing wrong I’m sure, it just didn’t work). I had two successful frozen transfers who are my toddler and baby today. Both times I took the whole day off, went home to bed after, ate some nice protein, veg and cashew bowl food, watched a happy/ comedy movie. For the next few days, between normal working hours, I went for gentle walks, did circle and bloom meditations and just tried to be nice to myself. Treated myself to popcorn and hot chocolate - my personal love language 😄 Simply be gentle and kind to yourself! Wishing you best luck 🤞🤞🤞

Just go on about things as normal. Eat healthy and get rest when you feel you need it.

Some of these may be myths but warm foods, avoid super cold stuff like ice cream, smoothies, no heavy lifting or bouncing. Keep your feet warm. Take walks, no reason to be on bed rest. But ultimately, I believe there’s very little you can do to make it stick or not. Good luck to you!!

For my successful one I ended up working the rest of the day/evening (!). It’s a crapshoot but relax if you can. Watch a comedy. Eat something healthy and delicious.

If you Google old wives tales and Embryo transfer there are some silly ones. I’m planning on doing all of them for fun. Eat McDonald’s French fries, expose yourself to clowns, warm socks, have something with a turtle on you (such as socks with turtles). I can’t remember the other ones right now but they mostly seem silly.

How are firms which are closing handling non-attorney staff? It seems some are forcing staff to use PTO and/or putting them on furlough at some point. We are thinking this through now.

I can't stop being angry and disappointed in myself. I'm on PTO and decided to take care a few of the household chores. I multi-task all of the time and can't help it. I forgot that I turned on the water to fill up the ultility sink in the basement and ran back upstairs to do something else. Well 2 hours later as I turn on the shower, I wonder why it's not getting hot. Then I remembered the basement. Obviously it overflowed and I had .25 inches of water on the floor (concrete) Cont

So I just wrapped up an audit which pretty much brought an end to my busy season but now I have no work to do. I’ve reached out to my PML, my EM and other managers for work but they have nothing for me and have encouraged me to take PTO. I was planning on using my pto for later in March though so I don’t wanna use it just because I have no work. Any advice on what I should do?

Where to apply with 610-640 gmat, 3.1 gpa from state school, 3years at Deloitte, but with a really good story. Can’t really retake the gmat because I don’t have time off from work. Was thinking round-1 would be best since they can allow a few bad stats.

Desperately need some motivation to stop order taking. If I'm lucky, I'm barely gonna hit 100% this Q. I get a ton of leads and feel like I just need to give them what they want and go to the next. But in reality i do non work related shit for at least 1-2 hours per day. When I WFH, I normally wake up 5 mins before meetings. There's enough time but I'm burnt out having not taken vacation in 6+ years. I can't vacation now. I need to crush numbers and hopefully take some time off in January. HELP
