Hello! I was just offered a job, but the salary is significantly lower than the range I asked for and when I asked to negotiate they said, we can’t go any higher. Should I walk?

The range I gave was 80-85k/ annually and they said oh that should work, the range for this role is $35-$42/hr - but then they came back and offered me $35/hr.

The main draw to the role at this point is the name of the company. But not sure it’s worth leaving my current role.

Can any ex Bainies/MBB please shed some light on the difference between leaving consulting to join S&O (or similar role) as an SAC (3 years out of undergrad) vs as a C2 (2 years post MBA + 3 years pre-MBA). What are the differences in role, responsibility, pay (level), and career trajectory. I’ve heard that leaving Bain at a more senior role might help you come in at a senior level at Google faster than if I left earlier and climbed the ladder from the bottom. Upcoming PM interview. I have an interview next week and am not sure how to prepare for the domain knowledge questions. Out of the few to choose, I have picked AI/ML strategy and market. The actual role would be in cloud but not related to AI/ML.

What kind of questions can I expect? Especially when the rest of the interview are supposed to be product design and strategy.
