When’s the best time to really consider making a switch to another company or a new internal role? Been really considering S&T or Research but can’t tell if it’s too early to network with others in those fields within and outside my company. Been at a BB for 1 year, from a non-target.

Hello. I’m a new MSM for lowes and I’m wondering what everyone’s base salary is. I think I’m under paid for my Tier 2 store.

Currently really enjoy the company I am working and although recently had a comp adjustment, salary is at mid 140k; but got another offer from a much much smaller consulting company for 175k

current role: architect
new role: manager, data management

Bonus is relatively the same, although I suspect benefits are less. Thoughts on what I should do; should I take the opportunity; should I speak to my manager? Is so how do I bring that up when less than a week ago I said it’s good!

Which Company is best to join, considering job security and work life balance? Both are paying same compensation.

I recently submitted an application to big4 through a referral, where there were no openings posted. I worked at the firm before and left in July, but was applying to a different city since I moved. I was told that they would not be moving forward with my application. When I asked why the recruiter told me they couldn’t say.
