3. They are some of the best examples of legal writing you c an absorb.

Supreme Court briefs written by serious Supreme Court advocates - Kennon Shanmugam, Lisa Blatt, Seth Waxman, Neal Katyal, Paul Clement, John Elwood, etc. they are the best writers in the profession.
I second TL's reading list. But also, try to find ways to practice actually writing / revising rather than just reading and trying to become a better writer by osmosis.
My other recommendation is to identify some partners who are excellent writers and review their redlines on your document management system. Depending on where you are at in your writing evolution, this might be too basic, but I've found it useful myself (not a naturally gifted writer).

Bryan Garner has good books about legal writing specifically. Also, reading good non-fiction writing and journalism will improve your writing overall and give you a good base of knowledge too. I like reading The Economist for my news, and the writing is generally excellent too (and it gives me some basis to understand more conservative arguments).
