Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Depends on the need of the hire, the experience of the hire etc. Right now real estate is the hotness other areas are starting to cool.

When I was interviewing at Troutman Pepper about two or three months ago the signing bonus was between 50-75k. Not sure what firms are doing now.

Back when it was Troutman Sanders, that would have been nearly unheard of. Looks like the merger has been beneficial for comp lol

Capital markets - nada
M&A and tax - if strong credentials 25-75
Exec comp- 25-50 (maybe more if senior)
Litigation - if strong credentials, maybe 25-50? If hold out till fall/winter - litigation will be what M&A was in Q2 2021
