So now that Facebook changed its name to Meta, what’s our new FAANG acronym going to be? AGMAN?
Is it too late to buy the FAANG stocks? Still feel that Amazon and Google are undervalued.
How is Amazon Product Management approach compared to that at Dropbox, Facebook, and Google? For example, Amazon mainly focuses on doc writing, is it the same at other FAANG companies?
If I have a solid history of work experience but don't have a college degree would FAANG companies consider me?
Anyone have insight into how taxing works on RSUs. Someone at NVIDA mentioned that their RSUs also get taxed by the company and hance you never actually see the sum total of RSUs awarded to you. Basically, 30% of RSUs awarded get held back as tax. Is this true for FAANG companies, specifically Amazon? TIA

Do FAANG companies move employees to different locations very much? I'm not sure how common or voluntary it is to be relocated if I work at one.
Trying to figure what TC includes at FAANG companies. When they say 150k base, 30k bonus and 100k RSUS... is your TC 280k? Or is the RSU over a 4 yr period? So, only base + bonus + quarter the RSU is the yearly TC??
Question: why would FAANG become MANGA with Facebook becoming Meta? Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet but still referred to as a “G”, so would think Facebook/Meta would stay as “F”. Other thoughts?
FAANG or PE Ops. I currently am in PE Ops consulting but have an offer from Amazon. Any ideas on what would provide more job security? Trying to decide if I should make a jump to FAANG
Is FAANG recruiting really all that hyper-competitive at M7s? Friend said no-one was picked up at Netflix from Wharton last year🥺
From talking to students at multiple M7 schools, it seems like all of the BB/MBB/FAANG companies recruit at most if not all of the schools . So if you're planning on recruiting for one of these, is there really a major difference in career opportunities between each school? Asking because it seems like some schools are specifically known for finance vs consulting vs tech, but if the companies are all recruiting at all these schools, the differences don't seem as pronounced to me.
Does having gaps on your resume automatically take you out the running for FAANG companies..
Thoughts on “the social dilemma” on Netflix. Curious to hear from anyone working at FAANG that are actively working on predictive modeling for ads.
Is it nonsensical for me to dream about joining FAANG only because I want aunties back home gossiping that Sharma ji’s daughter works for Facebook (or AANG)
Do engineers who switch to management start at M1 at FAANG+ companies regardless of engineering experience, or is it based on total experience? Do they only hire either internally engineers switching or only hire external people if they have management experience? What suggestions do you have for people looking to make the switch? I'm not sure how much longer I want to keep coding.

I’m starting to feel very flat about my job. Part of its burnout, but I’m realizing the other part is that I’m just not fulfilled by what I do. I just switched teams and have a great and supportive career manager, but my day-to-day client work is soul sucking. I’ve found myself feeling cynical about things. Not sure where to go or how to look. I’m 26, have advanced relatively quickly, but don’t want to start at the bottom again. Any tips on getting started?
Decision help please: Firm- 1800 hours, 385k+ comp; pros: partnership track, collegial group that seems to respect life outside of work; cons: having to track hours In-house- ~35 hrs/week, 280k total comp; pros: collegial group, no billables, actual vacation/time off; cons: huge company, seemingly little advancement opportunities, red tape
Is there a significant difference between the work done as a (Deloitte) Senior analyst Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance vs AML senior consultant? They sound closely related. Considering applying.
Serious question: I’ve worked in MBB, Big 4 and tier 2, and the number one reason I’ve heard for younger (less than 5 YoE) talent leaving is that they are “not doing strategy work.” It’s also the top request from younger staffers to do on every engagement team I’ve led. The question: Are there any consulting firms really letting new talent do this? Or is this the top delusion of new MBAs entering the consulting world?
For folks who went through power day for senior business analyst at Capital One , do you need to get the 4th interview to get an offer?
Relocating to LA from Canada in about a month but I’ll only really be able to search for apartments when I get there and hoping to not have to stay in an AirBnB too long. Has anyone worked with a rental agent they would recommend? I have been searching hotpads, etc. but it’s getting overwhelming and would like to have a guide/someone to help me.

New to the Bowl, greetings to all. I have a question for the sales leaders in the group about the design of sales comp plans. We are in professional services and our customers are about 50:50 retained and project-based. As such, we have an appetite for steady new business acquisition in addition to a need to provide excellent account management. Our gigs are usually in the 150K-750K range. Our BD process is very consultative, 99% of our leads are inbound. <more...>
