Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.
Is rolled off from project common in CG ?
I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.
How is internal hiring system in CG.

Depends on what kind of manager you want to be. Pure play PMOs don't need to know tech. They just need to know PM tools like MPP, JIRA etc.
If you want to be a program manager though, then it will help if you have hands on Dev or design experience so you can have relevant conversations with your team and clients.
Basic six Sigma and leadership skills and the particular process skills help a lot.
it all depends on what you're managing, but you need to know what tools people are working with and what they need in order to function on a basic level/what the limitations of those tools are. If you're an Engineering Manager or the like, it's obviously required for you to know everything that your reports do.
As a manager of what, though? Also, don't discount the soft skills that are important when you are managing people. If you try to develop only the technical side of your skillset you won't be as effective.
"Corporate roles and at higher levels also require technical skills. These can include office-based competencies such as typing, programming, Web-site maintenance, writing, giving presentations, and using software such as Microsoft Office or Adobe.
