Hi Sharks, I have recently given technical interview for infosys and got good feedback for it. I was told now Hr will connect with me for further process but it has been sometime now, neither hr has connected nor the status has changed in career portal. It still shows Schedule Interview. Can you please suggest, whether there is still hope? Infosys

If the skills does not match my profile (even though they say they carefully read my profile) or if they don’t provide the name of the company (that’s really the minimum to draw my attention) then I treat them as spam. So basically most of them.
I started answering politely when LinkedIn released their auto reply feature: « Hi Recruiter Name, thank you for reaching out, but I am not interested at this time »
And add « have a great day » or « hope you find the best person for the job » when I feel like it
I think it’s always good to treat people well and be polite. You may need them one day, you never know.
I usually like using only recruiters that work for the company and not third party recruiters. A lot of the third party recruiters tend to be after the commission they get and can be rude if you’re not responding to them fast enough.
I just started getting my first round of headhunters & I always lead with location, salary range & any kind of info they can give me on the client if they’re not inhouse.
If it sounds interesting and the salary range/location makes sense, I’ll take the first call to see what it looks like. If it’s not at all a good fit (looking at you Accenture hourly content checker recruiters 👀) I’ll respond with “thanks but I’m not looking to move right now” or tell them what roles you’d be open to moving for instead (assuming they’re an agency).
