You need self love and confidence,
Take a week's break to relax and think if u still wanna stay there
Don't be afraid to move on ! Apply paper and just work at 30% potential in your notice period
Spend the remaining time prepare and attend interviews
Join a awesome company with great pay
There also will come a crazy manger but this time u keep in mind ur just here for salary and to improve ur skill
Main focus must be to have WORK LIFE BALANCE
please don't spoil ur health with stress
U don't treat urself badly than ur manager bro , he is useless guy ! U shud really careless about the job ! Good luck to great times ahead 😊
I am on the same boat friend. I have tried to implement many changes in myself before I realised that's it's my environment that is toxic and not me. It may be the same with you.
Just remember 2 things,
- No one will enquire on your rating in your next job so be completely confident and focus on your personal growth.
- Don't worry about recession or the job market, you just need to crack one job so prepare accordingly and apply continuously alongside your work.
If you need help, just DM me. I am also applying elsewhere so if you need someone to talk to I can help.
Let's connect. Help each other with job search. I am only looking for remote work. Ready to upskill if needed. I was on career break and fully aware of how each one are exploiting the system. It is the below one who get crushed because they are denied to get a 360 degree top view. And those who are on top want to milk the system as far as they can. Bringing a balance is very important, need some courage.
If that is taking a toll on your mental health, it is better to leave the organisation. Start preparing for your next interview, do it calmly, get the new offer, resign from the current one and move on to a better one. It's just a bad experience or a bad breakup that people go through. Just phase out of it. All the best in your new search.
Thanks all for the suggestion and now I am pretty confident to resign and search new. Any leads would be helpful for remote opportunity in c#.net backend development or javascript.
Find one and leave this one.
Believe me start searching for a new job side by side, if you think it is getting intoxicated.
resign (if you can afford it) and search for a new job.
Resign .
Prove yourself that you are worth it .
Running from the situation with this small pressure is not good and in future when you will become Lead or Manager, you will face this type of pressure often. In the IT industry everyone faces such situations and many employees tackle this by struggling.
When I was at HCL, I faced the same issue and I proved that I am worth for the project and after receiving Live Ware award, I resigned from the company and it helps me to grow in my career.
Great response. We should leave when we have proved ourselves.
Say "no" and be happy. The person who does the least in the team is the happiest. Choose happiness!
Trust on yourself that you can do it and do any task just make it until you are satisfied. Move on to a new job role if possible
Modern slavery that is.. Search for a new job, better pay, give your minimum until notice period, n say "toodles" to your useless manager😁 best wishes ahead😊 We all have been through this and believe me once you start acting on these things and being confident, nothing will deter you. Stay hopeful and godspeed 😀
Been in same situation.
Firstly you need to intrapolate if you really lagging in work wise. Maybe some mistake you made or requirements were not clear or some confusion.
Issue can be within you or in other people
If issue with your skill, then do identify them and work on them. Switching job is not final solution.
But if issue due to other people, then start preparing for other jobs and switch ASAP
Hope this helps you. Also be hu.ble and honest while introspecting
Follow your passion. Don't stay in toxic environment. Tell your manager it's time to move on.
This is the time you switch
Get a new job asap.
I was a part of a toxic organisation. Spoke politely first. Then requested. Then argued. Then complained. Then left. At the end, I discovered I was the fool, because you can only let your dispair reach to those ears who are ready to listen.
Identify the gaps and try to work on it. Running away from the problem is not a solution at all. Ask for the feedback from your manager where he feels that you are not doing well and accordingly prepare yourself to improve in those areas.
Bad manager is the last thing you want! Work is just part of life, and not the life itself. You have got one life. Start some courses on Udemy, applying to diff orgs and resign (not until you get better opportunities if any EMIs) ! Till then, work as per the organisation guidelines and not to impress anyone.
Work on ur weakness and try to take all criticism in ur stride as long as u can stay working and criticism is for ur betterment .
Why you are taking stress? even if your manager is giving you that. Just don't take. Tell, it is because of such managers people are underperforming, because they don't know how to manage. Your manager is actually the failure. He is unable to get the work done and blaming it on you.
People don't change job, they change bad environment, which never allow them to thrive.
