2 years of experience and I had applied for a S&O associate role - is this a step down?

I appeared for a second round of tech interview last Thursday after the HC wanted to cover a few pointers that weren’t covered in the first 4 interview schedule. I haven’t heard back from the recruiter and the news of google slowing down the hiring process also has caught me up in thoughts.
