Help! I interviewed for a role last week Thursday, the interview went well and I was told I was a top candidate and would continue to another interview with the VP this week either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I reached out Friday before five to send a thank you note and confirm my availability. I was then told she was waiting for a response on interview times. I reached out again today, hoping I would get a confirmation on interview, no response. Should I assume I’m being ghosted?

I got a call from HR for interview and he told he will schedule an interview for next week. Its been 2 weeks still there is no call or onterview scheduled. Should I wait or call the HR again about the process. How much does l&t take to schdule a interview and how long is the process ?

I interviewed with the hiring manager on Monday and she really liked me and I liked her. On Tuesday I interviewed with the VP who is my bosses boss. That same day, I interviewed with the CMO. I was very tired at that point since it was 8:30 pm and then had been interviewing all day with this company and several others. The thing that threw me off was that the CMO seemed cold and she wouldn’t take off her her COVID mask. Not sure why since she was the only one in the room. Is this a red flag?

Hiring Managers: if you have a candidate who has done the exact same job before and interviewed well, and another candidate who hasn’t done the exact same job before but has transferable skills, what would make you pick the second candidate? When I get feedback from interviews, it’s often ‘we are looking for someone who has done this role before’, and I don’t know how to move into a slightly different career if I can’t seem to land a job to begin to get experience in it.
