What tool do you all use to monitor your project budgets? Looking for recommendations, we have been using excel so far.

If you reach out to a freelancer about a project and they reach back out to find out if they got the job, you should let them know either way.

I work at an in house creative dpt. Recently, a major project was outsourced to a creative agency. We were reassured outsourcing was a one-off, and future work will be kept in house. Yesterday, we were told that yet another major strategic and creative campaign is being briefed in to the other agency...again. How do you handle peers asking you to send over successful work (financial models or slides you have worked ages on) so they can ‘use the structure’. Also known as getting all the praise without giving any credit. In my team sharing is caring, but in the end your peers are also your competitors in a way. Furthermore its just pissing me off as I like to learn new things and figure stuff out myself. Any advice?

My SM told me that I have to be conscious of racial diversity when selecting a candidate for my project team. It seemed like they were very very careful with their language. Does this mean I have to pick a URM? My project is already majority URM, so wouldn’t adding another URM make it less racially diverse?

Recently moved to a new company and I’m so incredibly intellectually bored on my project…not sure what to do. It’s a lot more development and delivery focused than I thought it’d be. I also just realized how long it’s been since I’ve formatted Word documents. 🤣 I hate this feeling-so tired and bored during the day & am now stretching my work into multiple days because a) I’m way ahead of the deadlines & b) I’m avoiding simple tasks because they’re so boring.
