I think D1 is saying that using python (and the pandas module) instead of excel is how you get good at data analysis lol. There is no way to get great at excel other than just using it all the time for everything.

Can someone explain to me why the government doesn’t just freeze rent and mortgage payments during coronavirus and then provide unemployment to those who need it? Seems like everyone could get a temporary free pass if the fed on down forgives loan payments throughout the crisis, and unemployment benefits / stimulus provided to individuals could be significantly lower without having to factor in rent. What am I missing here?
