What type of project cars do you drive? We have Ford Fusions.

Then troll post. Most projects don't by cars for them....have fun being wherever you are for the next 5 years

like

Audis and Beemers.... Really!

like

Bought cars, wtf?

like

Let me guess OP you are a Staff 1?

like

Assuming ~$130 a week per car and that a Ford Fusion costs 25,000, the project would have to last 3.69 years for this to make business sense. Better for you OP! At least it's not 5 years

like

Wait what? Is this a thing? Never heard of this before

like

Makes literally no business sense unless it's an extremely long term engagement

like

You know that these cars have a predetermined buyback values right?
This is a preferred option from a cost standpoint for long term engagements rather than paying for rentals every week.

like

EY1 lmao....

@EY1- nope.. Even our partner drives one. We purchased about 10 of them for this engagement

And I'm saying project cars... Not your personal or rental.

Does OP gets to keep the car after 3.69 years?

Probably leased

Exactly, makes sense on long-term project

I've seen some projects get Subarus, some get VW Jettas..

OP are you public sector or something? This sounds like a project where you'd have corporate a apartments and groceries too

Which Deloitte project is this? Even at Walmart where the project has been going on for over a decade now and Walmart are cheapasses, they still rent cars.

Not sure which bowl to post this in, so I’ll write it this way: I confess I don’t know much about agency retainer fees. How much, on average, does an agency charge a client for creative AOR?

Partners/shareholders - how many hours are you expected to bill on work vs client dev and firm/associate management? My firm keeps saying that "there's no such thing as a relationship partner" and everyone top-to-bottom is expected to log 2000 hours/year on real billable work. Marketing etc is done on top of that. Is that normal?! If so, I'm going to have to totally rethink my life goals.

Hi Folks,
Need suggestion,
I have given an interview on HSBC, When I got first call from HR I discussed expected CTC 30 LPA and HR agreed to it but during final round with project hiring manager they said maximum they can provide is 27 LPA.
Should I accept the offer?
What is Annual Bonus and Increment?

Exp: 9 years
CCTC: 20 LPA
Position: Senior Avaloq Developer

Anyone else absolutely *loathe* being assigned new client matters at the end of the month when you know your billable time won’t count bc conflicts haven’t cleared yet? Just me?

I’m at my second agency job, but thinking of jumping to product/client side. Want to get a read on if this is a standard salary for my case.

Would you recommend I take a project mgmt role at Meta under a 9 month contract for 60/hr or stay at a role that has potential with nearly no possibility of getting laid off? My fear is that the economy gets worse and I’m stuck after the 9 months.

Current comp is 40/hr. I could probably get a promotion around Dec 2022-April 2023 bringing my comp to around $100k salary (potentially more). I’m 24, 4 YOE, and this contract would be with Collabera with Meta as the client.

Hi! Considering accepting an Account Director offer at a small agency (35 people). The role handles client management and also doing strategy work / planning for clients. I’ve typically had strategy departments dedicated to that at larger agencies. Anyone have experience with this? Is the workload manageable between traditional AM duties and strategy? (Small agency/small clients). Thanks!

The opportunities there seems way more interesting in terms of missions and financially. I had interviews for different companies but an obstacle keeps coming up: I am not a qualified lawyer because to be an in house, you do not have to be qualified in France.

I do have 2,5 years of experience in my field and strong referrals.

Do you maybe have any tips to help me?

Need help evaluating an offer. Currently at BCG a few months away from promotion to Consultant (post-MBA role, but I don’t have an MBA). Comp at BCG would be $200-$225k ish. Have a tech offer that’s remote in strategy. Really love the company and the team, but all in comp including equity is $170k, so would be a pretty big hit. Would love everyone’s thoughts on this kind of offer in general for someone in my position and how to think through remote as a benefit.
