What was interviewing like pre covid? A firm keeps pushing me to interview during my lunch break via zoom, but I don't have any wfh flexibility at my firm and my schedule the next 2 weeks is very hectic. I can only do it after the workday, but the firm won't budge. I can't do the morning as my firm requires us to get in at 8am. I guess I won't be interviewing then.

It definitely involves sneaking around.

My advice: you already know you want to leave. Be sick. Stay home the day of the interview.

You have sick days?

like

I mean - doctors appointment?

Just suggest starting with a call. If it goes forward from there then you gotta be more flexible your end.

like

Just say "I have an early morning appt and I will be late" and then do the interview. If you get yelled at, so what. What are they going to, fire you? Take away your birthday? No. If you are billing or getting your work done, they are going to act like a jerk, but you will already have one foot out the door so who cares.

like

Fuck em, take the interview from your desk. Go big and leave your door open, that’ll show em. What’s the worst that’ll happen? Get fired?

funny

Can’t you go to a coffee shop or something during lunch and do it there? If that’s not even doable, you gotta get out of there

I have a two corporate partner interviewing and they are making time available for multiple firms. The firm will take the lack of flexibility as disinterest.

Hi all! I work in digital marketing / organic social. For those in organic social what platform do you use for scheduling posts, analytics, UGC, managing influencers etc? We currently use bizzare voice/curalate. I work for a national retail brand so we are posting 2x a day with tons of UGC and in house content. Your thoughts and opinion are appreciated with all platforms! :)
