Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Fun question - I'm curious what you're hoping to learn.
Out of college, I took a software engineering job in San Jose for $50k and options that I was never going to be able to afford. I can't say it was a good or bad decision since we only live the one life, but it worked out fine despite starting way below market value.
I started a few (ultimately unsuccessful) companies after that and continued to earn about $60k/year for 5 years. It was great and something you can't really do later in your life unless you're extremely successful.
Once I realized I needed to learn a helluva lot more, I priced myself at $100k in San Diego. Asking for this was scary for me because, even though I had researched market rates, I had personally never made anything close to that amount. It ended up being a non-issue and, when I tried to press the envelope and ask for even more once they agreed to the$100k, they agreed. This was a key learning for me and I'm a lot more expensive now.
So again, what're you hoping to learn?
