What were refreshers like at Dropbox for the past few years? Any indication of refresher health going forward?

Hot take: if you are a consultant and don't have 100k saved up by 30, then you have:

- had significant student loans
- had a major family / health emergency
- are bad with money
Or
- aren't getting paid enough by Deloitte

How are y’all getting such high comp/paying jobs? Genuinely curious, I thought I was doing alright for 3 YOE (90k) but realistically after taxes, savings, health insurance.. etc I really can’t “afford” anything I really want.

I understand YOE and MBA’s are factors and can lead to higher comp, but that being said I really can’t afford to take time off with no pay and put myself in more debt.

Looking for side gigs too but work takes up all my time.

Thoughts?

For an applicant interested in BCG healthcare at the PL level, would there be a US office that has a substantial amount of healthcare work, potentially warranting more hires than other locations? I imagine SF/NYC/Chicago offices have far more healthcare work over Dallas? Thanks!
