When they examined me, they mentioned a endometrial (?) cyst on my ovary that I didn’t process fully, and prescribed low-hormone BC to manage the pain. After the visit, I did research and it appears this is a late-stage result of endometriosis, which I have never been diagnosed with (no previous gynos have ever mentioned it).
