I want to switch for better paying job and looking for switch in domain,,,,which would be better path.
Should i look for data analyst or developer as for data analyst I have skills but for developer i need to start again.
Career growth and opportunities i guess it is more in developer but analyst wlb is hell . Please suggest which domain i should take ,thank you

So, I am a high performer and had to cover for two very senior roles for many months due to quick high turnover. We already had our talks. I found it funny when I was told, “oh and by the way… as you can see we increased your bonus to thank you for covering for so and so.” $500 increase………. Am I silly to think this “thank you” increase is a joke? No salary increase and only $500 thank you for covering for two additional jobs. Am I unreasonable to think the work I covered for wasn’t appreciated?

I've been editing for a long time, but I'm brand new to agency life. I was hired as a FT in-house editor, but 9mo later, I'm absolutely drained (I come from publishing, which was not nearly as brutal)... and while I love the work and the people, I just canNOT anymore with the hours. Is it easier to set limits and have a life as freelance? What happens to rate if I already have an established salary? Do I just need to bow out of this industry if I want my life back?

AE comp question: has anyone seen commission being paid out on a monthly bases for annual deals closed? Reasoning is that company gets monthly payments
Eg: $12k deal, 5% commission, I get paid $50/mth instead of a $600 on closing

If you are hovering between the 24 or 32% tax bracket (work in commissions) and are planned to get a 60k bonus…would you take lump sum in December 2022 ? Or space it out with some in 2022 and the rest in 2023?

Is it worth it to go back to school for a graduate degree even if I’ve been in Compliance for 10 yrs? Or obtaining certifications is a better path. Don’t want to spend 50k on a degree like a Compliance one that is really not going to do anything for me salary wise. Thoughts? Thank you!!

Hi Everyone, I am seeing the posts where people are facing toxic work culture.
But I am glad that i got a really good team and managers, which is the issue in my case. ( in a positive way)
My last company was Infosys and Infosys client was ready to hire me at that time but didn't get a NOC and since there is a 6 month cool down period, I joined a new company.
But now they are ready to hire me and since my new team is great. I find it difficult to resign here in 6 months only.
