What would be a fair base pay for a Servicenow Developer/Lead with about 6 years of experience ?

I think something around $150K-$170K would be fare.

Agreed here

With 6 years of experience you're probably looking at around $95-$100k base, plus bonuses and benefits.

24, functional consultant with only 2 YOE and I’m at 128. Know the market

Based on rigorous market research and talking to various HRs, 150k base is the bare minimum I should be getting.

Also need the location

DC area

hmm I would say a $100k then

I would ask for no less than 100k.

In light of all discussions on FB, it seems to me that individuals at our firm have been removed out of EY beyond PIP related issues.
To help the community brace itself, please provide facts on your Utilization, level, leads, YoE at EY, and network.
My experience seems that the ones let go, had weak network.

Hi fishes..

What’s salary for PwC S1 experience hire in audit? - Florida Market

As a TVC on a 6mo contract, is it reasonable to put in 2wks during month 4 or 5 if you’ve received a substantially higher offer elsewhere?

I don’t want to burn bridges, but can’t turn down a great offer wit the *hope* that a contract extension will be offered in a month or two. Let alone turning down an additional several thousand dollars each month.

What’s the status quo expectation?

What is the procedure if I have joined a service based company since 10 days as lateral and I have got a new offer from a new company(late result from them) after joining and it's higher than the current package??I am not sure what should I do in this case if I want to join higher package company now as I still feel I am being underpaid in my current organization

Do you think Ford's review is an indictment on the AOR model and indicates a changing business model for the advertising industry?

If i received united vouchers (due to delays, etc) to pay for a flight, does it count towards my segment since it’s still a “paid” flight?

Anyone who left PwC AC Bangalore after july this year, have you received your Form 16 for this year? Thanks in advance!

Is a job in VC more or less attractive in a market downturn / potential recession? Asking as someone 4-5 years from partner. Biotech VC if that makes any difference.

Any recommendations for places to work such as coffee shops, wine bars etc. that are open late (10pm and beyond) near courthouse Arlington area? New to area, can drive, walk, or metro.

I managed to be hired by a really good company so naturally the impostor syndrome in me is now in full gear. Obviously, I must know things to have been hired, but I feel like there's so much I still don't know about product design. I got here through short courses and some books and articles and faking it till I made it. I am thinking to take a proper PD course now that I can afford it, if not to learn something new, then to affirm what I already know.

Thoughts on this plan of mine? Hehe

Freddie Mac I’m considering accepting a job at Freddie Mac as a financial analyst. Could anyone who has experience tell me a little about how it is? And would you recommend it? Thanks :))

Interviewing for a data analyst role for a marketing department in a tech firm (big name but not FAANG). Any tips would be appreciated!

Looking for Advice: I am an HR Associate at a midsized company. I was just informed that our HR Generalist put in their resignation. My boss (HR Director) let me know that I am going to be taking on more responsibilities (previous responsibilities of the Generalist role). I’m wondering… should I request a role change or ask for a bigger salary/more compensation? What is appropriate in this situation?
Any advice is appreciated. :)

Voice over potential. Looking for opportunity.

I already have the SHRM-SCP. . would it be a value add to go for the SPHR as well?

I’ve noticed in the past year no upper management guidance or vision. I work within a division and no town hall meetings, no communications from upper management and when they are in its “sorry we’ll talk about it next time” many of my peers in other business functions have said the same and the region leaders have also made similar comments about where are we going and what’s next. Constantly it’s been getting pushed to me to communicate but I have nothing since information is low. Common now?

For those that passed the SHRM-CP/SCP - how did you prepare to pass? How long did you study for- did you take any prep classes etc. How did you decide CP vs SCP

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

What are the best PHR study guides, programs, and tips? Thanks in advanced :)

I have been in recruiting for 4 years thinking of changing to something else in HR. What do folks recommend? HR Genealist ? L&D are some areas of interest. Curious to hear from others. What is the best role in HR?

Anyone interested in an HR Manager position? Let me know and I’ll get you connected and share more details :)
Arlington, Texas

What is your companies paid parental leave benefit/policy? Currently offer 12 weeks fully paid for any new parent and thinking about adding additional time.

I’m an HR Manager for a small (41 employee) company in Chicago. I make $70,000 a year no bonuses. I’m SHRM-CP and PHR certified with four years experience and a masters in HR. Am I underpaid?

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)

I've been in PeopleOps (mostly focused on TA Ops) for over 9 years now. I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?

I work at a Manufacturing company. We currently have our hourly team members clock in and out at a physical clocking machine. We would like to change this since one of our values is trust and it makes our team members feel like we don't trust them. What other ways are companies having hourly team members clock in/out?

I’d like to be prepared for the initial phone screen convo, which will only last 20-30 minutes. The JD shows the salary range as 110-130(USD) commensurate with experience, but I’m happy to land anywhere in that range—yet I don’t think it’s good to disclose that. How can I tactfully still talk to the recruiter about landing closer to 130? Not trying to be greedy, but certainly aiming high!

Is anyone hiring for roles such as Senior Recruiter/Resource Management/Talent Business Advisor/L&D?!

I was recently laid off for my company, a Big 4 firm, and am urgently looking for my next role. Anyone I can connect with or get referrals from would be greatly appreciated.

I am open to onsite or remote. Located in California so anywhere in California would be considerable.

Hey all! New to Fishbowl. Looking to send some direct messages. Can I get some help here 😁

Am I really having to deal with this, really?? How do you deal with immature behavior? Aren’t we all adults? What I’m dealing with at work today...A coworker comes to me today and says she can’t use the restroom because every time she uses it she has an asthma attack because of all the chemicals being used to clean the bathroom. Spoke to the custodian who cleans the bathroom “well if she didn’t explode the bathroom every time she uses it then I wouldn’t need to use as many chemicals.” [comments]

Are employers required to offer insurance to new hires?
