Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?
Zoom

Extra vacation days. That’s about it, as far as I know. Ask for a ton, they’re basically a throw-in. Curious if anyone else has experience negotiating other things.
Some ideas:
-Vacation days
-Relo
-Annual Training/conf budget
-Termination language (how much notice period you must give weighted against how much severance they must pay)
-Non-compete language in event of termination
-Annual Professional fees (professional memberships, dues, subscriptions)
-Trip home (eg: If an expat)
- business class flights
I’ll add to this question. Has anybody ever negotiated any extra benefits? Genuinely curious.
I've gotten extra vacation days, more base salary pay, and extra relocation money. My work partner got them to let him show up anytime before noon, no problem.
Ideally I have no start time. I get my shit done and work my ass off to ensure my team gets better every day. Sometimes that means I’m the first one in at 8a, other times that means I come in later so I have recovery time. If it’s on paper, I like the idea of “before noon”.
Is this just negotiating a job, or are you actually getting a contract?
The latter
I read on FB that some people, like the OP, are negotiating “contracts”. My understanding was that this is very rare. What’s the difference between an employment contract and an employment agreement?
Agreements are at-will: you can be fired whenever, and you can leave whenever.
Contracts are binding: both have to deliver on the terms or face (usually financial) penalties.
I’d stay away from a contract if I were you. I don’t think you fully grasp what they entail. Chances are if you leave the job you can’t work at a competing agency for X years.
