In the end only you care about yourself. All your mentors, coaches etc have their own agenda when push comes to shove.
Drop anchor where your heart is. And don't be afraid to jump. A few years ago, product management and design jobs didn't exist. Reinvent yourself and jump.

I have several mentors that have no agenda what so ever in their care for me and my career. That being said, they aren't at EY. Alumni network, old C-suite boss, etc etc. I agree that internal people have their agenda but have mentors outside of BCG. Those are your true mentors.

You are right. I was specifically referring to people at the same firm. I also have a mentor in another industry who is always unbiased.
